Lueria Winery's vineyards are planted in the heart of the Upper Galilee, on the western slopes of Mount Meron, 850 meters above sea level. The unique property, planted by Yosef Sayada, is simply called "Yosef's Vineyard." After selling fruit for years, Yosef's son Gidi decided to make his own, and studied oenology after finishing his military service. Today, they produce 5 different wines from this unique terroir, a combination of basalt, terra rosa and chalk soil. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cab. All the harvesting is done by hand. The wine itself has an intense purple color, is full-bodied, with multiple black fruit components. The wine is aged in French oak for 6 months. Kosher, Kosher for Passover.
