Located in the southern end of the Kedesh Valley in Israel's Galilee Region, Ramot Naftaly is surrounded by mountains that serve as a protective barrier from the high winds that often visit the valley. Vines are planted in deep Terra Rosa soil on moderate slopes, and enjoy moderate drainage, morning mist and soft sunlight. It is here that Yitzhak Cohen, owner and founder, leads a small but dedicated and professional team of winemakers. The 2011 Duet is a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is deep red-purple color, and the bouquet is strong and intense. Barrel aged for 12 months, the wine exhibits flavors of blackberry and anise. Long finish. Kosher and Kosher for Passover.
