Located in the town of Tavel, in the Southern Rhône Valley, Domaine de la Mordorée is a high quality and consistent producer of Rhone wines. Established in 1986 by brothers Christophe and Fabrice Delorme, along with their father Francis, the winery sadly lost brother Cristophe at the untimely age of 52. Cristophe's daughter, Ambre, as well as the talented team from Mordorée have continued his legacy of making stellar wines.
The 2016 Côtes du Rhône Rosé was given a 91 Point, Editors' Choice Award from Parker's Wine Enthusiast Magazine. He said, "This blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Cinsault shows the same attention to quality as the Domaine's other bottlings. Ripe red berries, dried spices and crushed stone all mingle easily on the bright nose and round palate, finishing long and intense." Grab some for yourself and see!
